Mark and I are fairly active people. We like to be outside doing things and we both love sports. Right now Mark is playing softball, and I start playing after his season is over.
I am the type of person who needs my exercise time, it's fun for me and it always makes me feel better. Some days I hate it, but I am always glad I did when it's over. Mark don't care as much for the actual "exercise" stuff. You won't catch him outside jogging with me and he doesn't go to the gym anymore but he does work. He is out there working in the garden, cutting grass and stuff like that. Whatever floats his boat.
As for the softball stuff, sports is something we both enjoy. Well, SOME sports...I have tried to get him to play tennis with me, but he has decided that is not a sport he is interested in (LOL). So Saturday, some of the team Mark plays with and myself were going to meet to practice hitting. The day didn't turn out so well for me. We decided to throw to warm up and I was throwing with Mark's Dad and somehow, he managed to hit me square in the nose with the ball... ok ok, maybe I somehow manged to not get my glove up fast enough, either way it happened. It gashed my nose pretty bad (I had sunglasses on) and I had a bloody nose and the top was bleeding where it was gashed. I think Mark expected me to be balling like a baby, but that didn't happen. I will admit a few tears came, but that always happens when you get hit in the nose I was NOT crying. Duh, I am a tough girl! I am not girly, by any means. So now I have this place on the top of my nose and the top and sides are bruised, but luckily I don't have a black eye :) It looks pretty bad, and my Mom has convinced me that it is going to leave a scar because it's a deep and odd cut, and the skin doesn't look like it fits back together right...oh goodness. Guess I will have to wait and see. So if you ever decided to replace your glove with your FACE, just know it don't feel or look so good. Also, when going out in public people tend to stare at you. Whatver, it will be better soon :)
So I want to leave you with some pictures from the last game the boys played.
They won 17-3!!!!!!!!!!!
