Of organizing our over sized walk in closest :) Mark and I are lucky enough to have a enormous (to us anyway) walk in closest in our bedroom. Problem is...it's slam packed with everything. It is one of the next projects I will be tackling, and I have taken to the Internet to find some ideas.
We have a good space and now I just have to figure out the best way to make every inch of it count! I know I need to get in there and get rid of clothes we can't wear any longer and pack them up for Goodwill. But right now my main concern is getting a vision in my head and looking around for some stuff that can help give us extra space in the nooks and crannies we don't use. My first concern is money. I don't want to shell out a ton of money to have a organized closest. I just want neat, functional and a WOW factor :) Nothing too fancy though, after all it is a closet. Here are some pictures of closets I thought were nice.
I am sure my closest will look nothing like these!!! Those are some big money re-organizations. But hopefully I can find some items to make it look pretty an organized without breaking the bank.
I thought this was cute :)
So the closet organization is probably going to take a while. Since I can't afford to redo our closet with the nice wood or laminate shelving I will have to find a way to add to what I have and make it work. We have the wire shelving :( Anyway I am going to start by going through all the clothes and getting rid of the stuff we don't wear. Of course I have a million pairs of shoes and most in boxes so I have to look at that situation as well, but I don't think I will be parting with any of my shoes...LOL I might start sorting through the clothes this week. I would really like to have this done in the next two weeks so I can switch over to our winter wardrobe. Problem is I have a million ideas and most of them are not going to work....gezzz Organizing is so stressful!
