I had a plan... To get off work today and spend some time on my comfy couch. Spending two very late nights at the softball games this week and the stress from work had wore me down big time. Before lunch today I really didn't know if I was going to make it through the day...but I did (not that I had a choice).
So I get home and sit down for a few minutes, watch a little bit of the news and decided I thought it was a good idea to go ahead and run all my errands tonight so I could have my day tomorrow. I really want to go hunting tomorrow so I knew I needed to get everything done. Plus I really didn't feel like cooking dinner so the sound of going out was a easy excuse to pick something up.
I start getting my grocery list together, some stuff I needed to deposit into the bank and headed out the door. They are having super doubles this week at Harris Teeter and to be honest the only thing that made me stop was getting 3 loaf's of bread for .59 cent each and some washing powder for 1.98. I got there and found a few other things that were a good deal but I didn't have coupons :( I loaded up on french fries and bought my Mom a ton of the frozen veggies she likes because the price was awesome. So after all my errands were done I was pulling in my driveway at 7:50. I was going to sit down and catch up on my TV shows from yesterday, but I started picking up the house a little. Now it's 10:00 and I am fixing to watch Blue Bloods and get started on the usual work I have to bring home each week....blah! I guess I can start my weekend tomorrow. It's crazy how there is so much stuff to be done on the only two days of rest I have each week. Tomorrow evening we have plans to go to Mellow Mushroom and watch one of our friends play music tomorrow night. My husband is out side in the shop entertaining a few friends and to be honest I probably look like a butt hole for sitting in the house and not being social, but I am tired and just want a little time to myself. Is that too much to ask?
If your wondering, I am planning to take a week off from my house cleaning project. They have taken up my whole weekend for the past two weeks so I am taking a weekend off. Maybe we will get started again next week.
So now that it's November everyone is gearing up for Black Friday. If you want to get all the latest Black Friday news this is my favorite site http://www.blackfriday.info/ Seems like a lot of stores are going to try to be edging each other out for our business...let's hope for a good one this year!
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!
